RESOLUTION NO. 2001-83
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING
MEMBERS TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, on January 27, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
adopted Collier County Ordinance No. 99-6 creating the Environmental Advisory Council; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 99-6 provides that the Environment Advisory
Councilshalloon~~of9members;and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Larry H. Stone, is hereby appointed to the Environmental Advisory Council to fulfill the
remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on April 13, 2002.
2. Chester P. Soling is hereby appointed to the Environmental Advisory Council to fulfill
the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on April 13, 2003.
3. Alfred F. Gal, Jr., is hereby reappointed to the Environmental Advisory Council for a 4
year term, said term to expire on April 13, 2005.
4. Michael G. Coe is hereby reappointed to the Environmental Advisory Council for a 4 year
term, said term to expire on April 13, 2005.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
