Thank you, Attachment 9C 9C ; RESOLUTION NO. 2009-63 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT MARY LINDA SANDERS TO THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County adopted Ordinance No. 91-38, as amended, creating the Black Affairs Advisory Board, and provides that the Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Board; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Black Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Mary Linda Sanders is hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term plus an additional four year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2013.
