At today's meeting the BCC approved the following documents for signature by the BCC
Chairman.
Item 16(C) 7: Pre-Award Cost Form requesting pre-award credit of $5,796.00 in staff time and
expenditures as an addition to the grant application to the Florida Department of Community
Affairs for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for up to $50,000.00 to install alumimium roll down
shutters and supporting equipment on the Collier County Environment Compliance and Landfill
Scale Houses facility.
Item 16(C) 8: Pre-Award Cost Form requesting pre-award credit of $54,164.80 in staff time anp-.
expenditures as an addition to the grant application to the Florida Department of Community ~
Affairs for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for up to $320,000.00 to construct a six-inch High
Density Polethylene leachate pipe at the Collier County Landfill.
Item 16(C) 12: Florida Department of Environmental Protection Innovative Recycling and Waste
Reduction Grant application in the amount of $343,070.00 to fund the "Implementing Recycling at
Temporary Events Ordinance" program.

To request Pre-Award Costs, please complete this form and submit with your HMGP application. All ELIGIBLE
pre-award costs are subject to an approved grant award and availability of funding. If funding is not available or the
project is not approved, pre-award costs will NOT be reimbursed and will be solely the responsibility of the
applicant. If your project is approved and pre-award costs are eligible, the cost share for the reimbursement of these
activities is 75/25 (same as other projects).
