RESOLUTION NO. 2002-411
RESOLUTION APPOINTING NICKOLAS E. WHITNEY
TO THE PUBLIC VEHICLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Public Vehicle Advisory Comtnittee was established by Collier County
Ordinance No. 86-4, as amended; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 86-4, as amended, provides that the Public
Vehicle Advisory Committee shall consist of five (5) members and one (1) alternate,
with (3) of its members being affiliated as holders of certificates to operate a motor
vehicle for hire company within Collier County; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Committee for the affiliated
category; and
WHEREAS, a member of this Committee currently appointed as an Alternate desires
to become a regular member; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Nickolas E. Whitney is hereby
appointed under the Affiliated category to the Public Vehicle Advisory Committee to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring September 2, 2004.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
