Resolution 2002-394 16A16 RESOLUTION NO. 2oo2-~ A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF LIEN FOR THE COST OF THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE No. 99-51, AS SUCCESSOR TO ORDINANCE No. 91-47, AS AMENDED WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance No. 99-51, as successor to Ordinance No. 91-47, as amended, the direct costs of abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property; and WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together with a description of said parcel; and WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal. valid and binding obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable no later than twenty (20) days of the date of the Legal Notice of Assessment and interest shall accrue on the unpaid balance beginning on the date this Resolution is recorded at the rate of twel ve percent (12%) per annum. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that the property described as follows, having been abated of a public nuisance after due and proper notice thereof to the owner(s) of said property, is hereby assessed the following costs of such abatement, to wit: ~ GALLOWAY, BARBARA L. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: PARCEL 1: Commencing at the East 14 corner of Section 13, Township 52 South, Range 29 East, Collier County, Florida; thence North 68 degrees 04'26" West 987.57 feet, said corner being the place of ending of S.837 as described in Deed Book 42, page 142 of the Public Records of Collier County, Florida, thence South 42 degrees 06' West 37.00 feet; thence South 1 degree 24' West 547.95 feet; thence North 88 degrees 36' West 30.0 feet for a PLACE OF BEGINNING; thence South 1 degree 24' West 210.0 feet; thence North 88 degrees 36' West 120.0 feet; thence North 1 degree 24' East 210.0 feet; thence South 88 degrees 36' East 120.0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Bearings based on the East line of the Northeast 14 of Section 13 as being North 0 degrees 02' West. COST: $1,862.00 REFERENCE#: 2164 FOLIO #: 01131800000 The Clerk shall (by regular U.S. mail) mail a copy of this Resolution along with the Notice of Assessment of Lien to the owner(s) of the above-described property. If within twenty (20) days of the date of mailing that copy, the owner fails to deliver payment in full to Collier County, the Resolution and Notice of Assessment shall be recorded in the official records of Collier County, and by recording shall constitute a lien against the above-described real property. and to the extent allowed by law, shall also be a lien upon all other real and/or personal property owned by the noted property owner(s) in Collier County.
