RESOLUTION NO. 2002-309
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ED STAROS
TO THE PELICAN BAY MUNICIPAL SERVICES
TAXING AND BENEFIT UNIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-111 created the Pelican Bay Municipal
Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory Committee and provided that the Committee
shall consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-22 amended Ordinance No. 90-111,
providing that the Committee shall consist of fifteen (15) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Pelican Bay Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory
Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation
for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Ed Staros is hereby
reappointed to the Pelican Bay Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory
Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring on January 29,
2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and unanimous vote.
