Agenda 07/09/2019 Item #16E 7 (FY19 Pay & Classification Changes)07/09/2019 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to approve modifications that consist of three title changes, two reclassifications, and two additions to the 2019 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan made from April 1, 2019 through June 30, 2019. OBJECTIVE: To maintain a current and flexible pay plan that best meets the needs of the County. CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July. The modifications to the County’s 2019 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan consist of three title changes, two reclassifications and two additions. FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County. GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this Executive Summary. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK RECOMMENDATION: To approve three title changes, two reclassifications, and two additions to the 2019 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan.
