Report On What The Issues Are. Is It ? Fire, Theft, Noise Attenuation Along Neighbor’s Property Lines, Setbacks to Property Lines, Separation Between Homes, Amount of Clearance Between Generators Due to Heat and Fumes, or Placement on the Same Side of Neighboring Property Lines. 1 The Issues Are Addressed FIRE: HEALTH AND SAFETY The Fire Official for North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District recommendation has been incorporated into the amendment and there are no concerns with emergency access, EMS, or firefighting tactics. Carbon monoxide detectors are a required installation. NOISE and THEFT: The amendment requires adherence and compliance to the County Noise Ordinance and manufacturer’s sound level readings. Manufacturer’s data provided meet the County’s Noise Ordinance acceptable level and no complaints have been filed with Code Enforcement related to permanent emergency generators. Staff is unaware of any theft related to permanent emergency generators. PROXIMITY and SETBACKS to PROPERTY LINES and NEIGHBORING PRINCIPAL STRUCTURES.
