EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners accept the Report of Interest
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009 pursuant to the Florida Statnte 218.78 and
Purchasing Policy XII Section E, pertaining to Florida Prompt Payment Act and to report
there was no interest paid for fiscal year ending September 30, 2009.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain Board approval and acceptance of the Report ofInterest for the fiscal
year ending September 30, 2009.
CONSIDERATION: Pursuant to Flolida Statute 218.78, in December of each year each local
governmental entity shall report to the Board of County Commissioners the number of interest
payments made by il dming the preceding fiscal year and the total amount of such pa)o11ents in
excess of $250.
Pursuant to Board Purchasing Policy Xll. Section E, the Purchasing Director and the Finance
" Director shall jointly submit this rep0l1.
For the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009 there were no interest payments made pursuant to
Section E.
FISCAL IMPACT: None,
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve and accept the
