EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize execution of the budget amendment in the amount of $135,000 for
the 9-1-1 Next Generation Core Services Implementation Support contractual services.
OBJECTIVE: To authorize execution of the budget amendment in the amount of $135,000 for the 9-1-1
Next Generation Core Services Implementation Support contractual services.
CONSIDERATION: The Collier County Sheriff's Office needs to ensure compliance of the contractual
and technical requirements outlined within the final contact with Motorola, with focus on commitments
made to deliverables and testing.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed in the amount of $135,000 to be able to use
Emergency Phone System Funds.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT: None.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, raises no legal
issues, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners (1) authorize execution of the
budget amendment for the 9-1-1 communications contractual services and licensing.
