EXECUTlVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the
acceptance of insurance proceeds in the amount of $20,952.50 and to authorize the
necessary Budget Amendment.
OBJECTIVE: To receive approval from the Board of County Commissioners to recognize and
appropriate insurance proceeds.
CONSIDERATIONS: In September 2009 a 2007 Ford Explorer sustained heavy damage in a
motor vehicle accident. The insurance company made the determination to total the vehicle with
an insurance value of $20,952.50.
FISCAL IMPACT: Insurance proceeds in the amount of$20,952.50 are available in Fund 490.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: No legal issues are raised by this item. -JAK
GROWTH IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact resulting from this action.

RECOMMENDA TION: That the Board of County Commissioners:
1. Approve and authorize the acceptance of insurance proceeds m the amount of
$20,952.50; and
2, Authorize a Budget Amendment in the amount of $20,952.50.
