EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
COMMISSIONER REQUEST FOR BOARD APPROVAL FOR PAYMENT TO
ATTEND FUNCTION SERVING A VALID PUBLIC PURPOSE
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to declare a valid public
purpose for a Commissioner to attend function/event and approve payment by
the Clerk.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Resolution No. 99-410, the Board of County
Commissioners has determined that attendance at the functions of fraternal,
business, environmental, educational, charitable, social, professional, trade,
homeowners, ethnic, and civic association/organizations serves a valid public
purpose, provided that said functions reasonably relate to Collier County matters.
COMMISSIONER: Donna Fiala
FUNCTION/EVENT: Seacrest Key Club Induction of Charter Members
PUBLIC PURPOSE: Meet and interact with local business and community
leaders.
DATE OF FUNCTION/EVENT: October 14, 2009
FISCAL IMPACT: $10.00 Funds to be paid from Commissioner's travel budget.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners, in accordance
with Resolution No. 99-410, approve payment by the Clerk for Commissioner
Donna Fiala to attend function serving a valid public purpose.

SEACREST KEY CLUB
INDUCTION OF CHARTER MEMBERS
You are cordially invited to attend the
Seacrest Key Club Dinner and Charter Induction Ceremony
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 6:30 pm in the Arts Center
Following a catered dinner from Aldo's our officers and charter members
will be inducted into Key Club International. Members of the Kiwanis
Club of Naples, our sponsoring club will join Emmie Horadam,
Lieutenant Governor of Division 22 in welcoming our students to Key
Club International. We are certainly proud to join an organization which
includes over 5,000 clubs worldwide, all dedicated to the service of others.
We hope you can join us for this exciting beginning of the
Seacrest Key Club.
The cost of the dinner is $10 per person and can be paid at the door or
charged to your Seacrest account.
