EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Award Bid #09-5191 R "Court Reporting Services" to Gregory Court Reporting
Service, Inc. for estimated annual expenditure of $100,000.00.
OBJECTIVE: To ensure the availability of court reporting services including recording
and transcription of depositions, meeting minutes, testimony for court hearings, etc. for
multiple County Departments.
CONSIDERATIONS: Bid #09-5191 R was posted on August 25, 2009. Eighteen (18)
notices were sent and three (3) bids were received and opened on September 9, 2009.
Staff reviewed the bids and recommends award of Bid #09-5191 R to Gregory Court
Reporting Service, Inc. as the lowest qualified and responsive bidder.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funds for these services shall come from each individual using
department's budget as services are required.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact
associated with this Executive Summary.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office and does not present any legal issues. - CMG
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners award Bid #09-
5191 R "Court Reporting Services" to Gregory Court Reporting Service, Inc..The
contract will be in the form of a County Purchase Order.
