EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners approve a Budget
Amendment to transfer $1,711.25 from the Supervisor of Elections Administration
Budget to the Supervisor of Elections Grant Budget recognizing HA VA program
income.
OBJECTIVE: To transfer funds from the Supervisor of Elections Administration Budget
to the Supervisor of Elections Grant Budget.
CONSIDERATIONS: When the Supervisor of Elections Office charges for the use of
voting equipment funded by Help Amerij;::a Vote Act (HA V A) dollars in local elections,
the Supervisor must determine whether net income is received. It has been determined
that $1,711.25 of net income has been received and that those monies are to be deposited
back into the Supervisor of Elections HA V A grant foods account.
FISCAL IMPACT: The Supervisor of Elections will deposit $1,711.25 from the
Supervisor of Elections Administration Budget to the Supervisor of Elections Grant
Budget.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the
County Attorney's Office and is a legally sufficient, regular agenda item only requiring a
majority vote for approval-SR T
GROWTH MANAGEMENT INP ACT: None
RECOMMENDATION: That the Collier COooty Board of County Commissioners
authorizes the Chairman to approve the budget amendment transferring $1,711.25 from
the SOE Administration Budget to the SOE Grant Budget..
