EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners
approve a budget amendment recognizing interest earned in Supervisor of
Elections grant fund 37004.1. .
OBJECTIVE: To obtain the Board of Commissioner's approval to recognize interest earned in
the Supervisor of Elections Grant Fund 37004.1.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Division of Elections receives federal HA V A funds for voter
education and outreach activities, and then distributes these funds to the Supervisors of Elections
across the State. These funds, and any matching funds provided by the County, must be placed
in separate accounts and accounted for individually. Collier County is the recipient of HA V A
funds and the purpose of this executive summary is to recognize the interest earned in the
Supervisor of Elections grant fund 37004.1 .
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office, it does not present a legal issue but is a regular agenda item only requiring a majority
- vote for approval-SRT
GROWTH MANAGEMENT INP ACT: None
RECOMMENDATION: That the Collier County Board of County Commissioners authorizes
the Chairman to approve the budget amendment recognizing $4,092.83 of interest earned in the
Supervisor of Elections grant fund 37004.1.
