EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners
accept funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the
amount of $64,907.44 for the reconstruction of the T-hangars at Everglades
Ai rpark.
OBJECTIVE: That the Collier County Board of County Commissioners accept funds
from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the amount of
$64,907.44 for the reconstruction of the T-hangars at Everglades Airpark.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Airport Authority requested and received reimbursement
from FEMA in the amount of $64,907.44 for expenses not covered by insurance for the
reconstruction of the T-hangars at Everglades Airpark damaged by hurricane Wilma.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is necessary to recognize revenue from
FEMA in Fund 496.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact
associated with this Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office and is legally sufficient for Board action. - CMG
RECOMMENDATION: That the Collier County Board of County Commissioners
accept funds from FEMA in the amount of $64,907.44 for the reconstruction of the T-
hangars at Everglades Airpark and approve the required budget amendment.
