EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve all necessary budget amendments to transfer funds
from Gas Tax Fund (313-60064) to CAT Fund (426-60083) in the amount of $23,900
for the construction of a Collier Area Transit Bus Shelter,
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners for a
budget amendment to transfer funds from Project No. 60064 TCMA to Project No. 60083
in the amount of $23,900.00 for the construction ofa Collier Area Transit Bus Shelter.
CONSIDERATION: Funds were received from Toll Brothers, Inc. in September 2005
toward their Transportation Demand requirements for the East Central Transportation
Concurrency Management Area. These funds were for constructing required
sidewalks/pathways and to contract a Collier Area Transit Bus Shelter in close proximity.
The funds were deposited into Gas Tax fund 313 project 60064 East Central TCMA.
FISCAL IMPACT: To move $23,900 in budget from Gas Tax Fund 313 to CAT Fund
426, two budget amendments are necessary. Sufficient budget exists in Fund 313, funded
program 60064 to transfer the funds.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office, it does not present a legal issue but is a regular agenda item only requiring a
majority vote for approval-SR T
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Consistent with the Transportation Elements
in Objectives 10 and 12 of the Growth Management Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve the
necessary budget amendments intended to transfer $23,900 from Gas Tax Fund 313 to
Collier Area Transit Fund 426 for construction of a Collier Area Transit Bus Shelter.
