EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve aGBWdget Amendment to recognize and appropriate
Grant administrative revenues totaling $54,716.97 for reimbursement of personnel
and operating expenses.
To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners to approve o
Budget Amendment to recognize and appropriate Grant administrative revenues totaling
�54,71O�87forroimbura�m�ntof personnel and operating expenses.
The Department of Emergency Management Emergency Operations
Center was activated during Tropical Storm Fay and is now being reimbursed $28.934.35 for
personnel overtime and operating expenses. The reimbursement }S being provided byFEK4A.
The Department ofEmergency Management is also being reimbursed for administrative costs
for personnel and operating expenses necessary for grant monitoring and reporting by the
Florida Department of Community Affairs in the amount of$25.782.02.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment ba necessary in order to recognize reimbursements in
the amount of$54.71O.97. and will be appropriated to the Emergency Management Operating
Budget, personal services.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's Office, and
it does not present any legal issues. This item requires majority vote and is legally sufficient for
