EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve budget amendments to move $114,000 within the IT
Department's adopted FY09 budget to cover staff salary and benefits expenses.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain Board approval for budget amendments authorizing the
movement of funds from various operating line items to personal services (staff payroll
and benefits) line items.
CONSIDERATIONS: The IT Department, in accordance with agency policies, budgeted
personal services costs assuming 4% attrition in the adopted FY09 budget. The
budgeted attrition did not occur. The requested budget amendments move funds from
various operating budget line items in the IT Department's adopted FY09 budget to the
personal services budget sufficient to meet actual needs.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no net fiscal impact since the required funds exist in the IT
Department's FY09 adopted operating budget.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office and does not present any legal issues. This item requires majority vote and is
legally sufficient for Board action. — CMG
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth impact associated with this

RECOMMENDATION: Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners
