EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners ratifies modifications
and deletions to the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan made from April 1,
2009 through June 30, 2009.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to ratify modifications to and
deletions from the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County
Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and
Classification Plan subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times
during the fiscal year — in January, in April and in July. This is the third such occurrence.
Attached are the deletions and one modification to the County's 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and
Classification Plan that was made between April 1, 2009 and June 30, 2009 (Exhibit 1).
The deletions result from job classifications that have become obsolete. The modification
reflects modified or new responsibilities.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's Office
and requires majority vote only. This item is legally sufficient for Board action. - CMG
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners ratifies deletions and
modifications from the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
