EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to adopt a Resolution to approve the Satisfactions of Liens for Solid Waste
residential .,accounts wherein the County has received payment and said Uens are satisfied in . .
full for the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 19% Solid Waste Collection and Dip mg Services
Special Assessment.. Fiscal impact is 37&50 to record the Satisfactions of Liens.
OBJECTIVE: Adopt a Resolution approving the Satisfactions of Liens for residential accounts
where the County has received payment in full for the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 Solid
Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
CONSIDERA►T'IONS: Resolution No. 94-668 adopted by the Board on September 13, 1994
provided for the recording of the list of 1992 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services
special assessment and a mailing of a:written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien.
Resolution No. 94 -668, was recorded on September 19, 1994 in Official Record Book 1986, Pages
766 through 942 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida,. which placed a lien on certain
residential properties for the 1992 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 94 -694 adopted, by the Board on September 20, 1994 provided for the recording of
the list of 1993 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessment and a
j mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien. Resolution No. 94 -694
was recorded on September 22, 1994 in Official Record Book 1987, Pages 1514 through 1749 of
the Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed alien on certain residential properties
for the 1993 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
Resolution No. 95-475 adopted by the Board on August 22, 1995 provided for the recording of the
list of 1994 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien. Resolution No. 95 -475
was recorded on September 14, 1995 in Official Record Book 2099, Pages 1338 through 1574 of
the Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties
for the 1994 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
Resolution No. 2000 -236 adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000 provided for the recording of the
list of 1995 delinquent solid waste collection and `disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien. ResolutionNo. 2000 -236
was recorded on August 8,` 2000 in Official" Record Book 2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for
the 1995 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment, -
Resolution No. 2000 -237 adopted by the Board on August .1, -2000 provided for the recording of the
list of 1996 delinquent solid waste collection and:disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien.: Resolution;N6. 2000 -237
was recorded..on August, 8, 2000 in Official Record Book 2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the

Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for
the 1996 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as emended, provides that Satisfactions of Liens shall be
approved by Resolution.
The attached Resolution lists the six accounts that have been paid in full for the 1992, 1993, 1994,
1995 and 1996 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment Lien.

FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Liens and the R=olution is
approximately $78.50, which is to be charged to County Water /Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is legally sufficient for Board action. This item is a
i regular item requiring a majority vote, - JBW
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated with
these items.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopt the attached Resolution
approving the six Satisfactions of Liens for the accounts listed in the Resolution and authorizing the
Chairman to sign the six Satisfactions of Liens for the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 Solid
Waste Collection Services Special Assessment Lien.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF
LIENS FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE PAID IN
FULL, INCLL!DING INTEREST, ARISING FROM THE
1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 AND 1996 SOLID WASTE
COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on September 13, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94 -668 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1992; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on September 20, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94 -694 authorizing the
recording of'notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1993; and
WHEREAS. pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 22, 1995, adopted Resolution No. 95 -475 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the .Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -236 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1995; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -237 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30. as amended, requires the Board to

approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Liens on all accounts
that have been paid in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board recognizes full
payment and receipt of the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1 995 and 1996 Service Year Solid Waste Collection
and Disposal Special Assessments for the following accounts numbered below, whereupon liens
have been recorded on real property pertaining to the following accounts:
Account Nos, 107851, 21526, 20433, 29117. 32230 and 23809
The Satisfactions of Liens attached hereto, referencing the accounts identified herein, are
hereby approved and the Chairman is hereby authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County
Commissioners and the Clerk is directed to record this Resolution and these Satisfactions of Liens
individually in the official records of Collier County:
