Appointment of member(s) to Public School Concurrency Citizen Advisory Group...
OBJECTIVE: To appoint 2 citizens to serve on the Collier County School Board's Citizen
Advisory Group.
CONSIDERATIONS: On October 14, 2008 the Board of County Commissioners (BCe)
approved, the Public School Concurrency amendments and Interlocal Agreement (ILA)
establishing a countywide Public School Concurrency Program. As a part of the approval the
BCC agreed to appoint 2 members to represent unincorporated Collier County to a Citizen
Advisory Group. The citizen members shall have knowledge or experience in at least one of the
following areas: accounting, land development, demographics, land planning or business
administration.
The responsibilities of the group shall be limited to the monitoring of the implementation and
effectiveness of this Interlocal Agreement, and to report once a year to the County Commission,
each City Council, the School District and the general public on the implementation of this
Agreement and the effectiveness of school concurrency.

appointment, appoint 2 members, and direct the County Attorney to prepare a resolution
confIrming the appointments.
