RESOLUTION NO. 2004-341
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT AND
REAPPOINT MEMBERS TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-65 created the Affordable Housing
Commission and provides that the County Commission shall appoint five (5) members to
the Affordable Housing Commission and the City of Naples shall appoint four (4)
members to the Affordable Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided publiC notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Commission has proVided to the Board of County
Commissioners its recommendations for appointment; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it is in the best
interest of the Affordable Housing Commission to appoint an Alternate to serve as a
regular member when a regular member is unable to attend a meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLUER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Dr. Samuel J. Durso is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing Commission
for a three year term, said term to expire on October 1, 2007.
2. William Rayburn Cadwallader is hereby reappointed to the Affordable Housing
Commission for a three year term, said term to expire on October 1, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Michele Ellis Harris is appointed as an Alternate to
the Affordable Housing Commission, said term to commence after the adoption of an
Ordinance amending Collier County Ordinance No. 91-65, to include an Alternate in its
membership. The term of this Alternate member shall expire on October 1, 2007.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
