EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Collier County
Landscape Maintenance Agreement (“Agreement”) between Collier County and Standing
Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc., for landscape and irrigation improvements within the
Oakes Boulevard Public Right-of-Way.
OBJECTIVE: That the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approves and authorizes the Chairman
to sign the attached Collier County Landscape Maintenance Agreement permitting landscaping and
irrigation improvements within the County right-of-way and insuring that Standing Oaks Homeowners
Association, Inc., will maintain improvements accordingly.
CONSIDERATIONS: Collier County was approached by Standing Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc.,
to install landscape and irrigation adjacent to the Standing Oaks Development within the Oakes
Boulevard public right-of-way. Pursuant to the attached Landscape Maintenance Agreement, the owner
agrees to maintain the landscape and irrigation improvements within Oakes Boulevard, as described in the
landscape plans attached to the Agreement. Rights to terminate the Agreement are spelled out in the
attached Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no cost to Collier County associated with this proposal. The Standing Oaks
Homeowners Association, Inc., is responsible for all recording fees.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
RECOMMENDATION: To sign a Collier County Landscape Maintenance Agreement between Collier
County and Standing Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc., for landscape and irrigation improvements
within the Oakes Boulevard Public rights-of-way.
