EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a budget amendment recognizing $6,324 in
revenue from an insurance reimbursement and appropriating funds for
purchase of a mower.
Objective: To replace a mower at Veterans Community Park.
Considerations: A Z528 Toro mower was reported missing from Veterans Community
Park. The replacement of this mower is necessary to maintain normal operations at the
park.
Staff has prepared a budget amendment recognizing $6,324 in insurance reimbursement
and appropriating funds for the purchase of a replacement piece of equipment which is
the actual cost of the mower.
Fiscal Impact: Approving this budget amendment will increase the Parks and
Recreation Department Veterans Community Park operations (111-156380) FY 09
budget by $6,324.

Leaal Considerations: This item is not quasi judicial, no ex parte disclosure is
required, requires simple majority vote, and is legally sufficient for Board action. - CMG
Recommendation: That the Board of County Commissioners approve a budget
amendment recognizing $6,324 in revenue from insurance reimbursement and
appropriating funds for purchase of a mower.
