RESOLUTION NO. 2003-35
A RESOLUTION OF
COMMISSIONERS TO
MEMBERS TO THE
ADVISORY BOARD.
THE BOARD OF COUNTY
APPOINT AND REAPPOINT
PARKS AND RECREATION
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was created on November 25,
1975, and was composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on October 25, 1993, adopted
Ordinance No. 93-81 which increased the membership from five (5) members to seven
(7) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies in the category of Urban Area Community
Park District and the Immokalee Community Park District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that;
1. Edward R. Olesky is hereby appointed to the Parks And Recreation Advisory
Board to represent the Immokalee Community Park District for a 4 year term, said term
expiring December 31,2006.
2. Ronald J. Brown is hereby appointed to the Parks And Recreation Advisory
Board to represent the Urban Area Community Park District for a 4 year term, said term
expiring December 31,2006.
3. Frank Donohue is hereby reappointed to the Parks And Recreation Advisory
Board to represent the Urban Area Community Park District for a 4 year term, said term
expiring December 31,2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
