RESOLUTION NO. 2004- ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXTEND THE TERM OF
THE COMMUNITY CHARACTER/SMART GROWTH ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.

WHEREAS, on June 26, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Ordinance No. 2001-41, creating the Community Character/Smart Growth Advisory
Committee as an ad hoc adviSOry committee to assist staff in the implementation of a
Community Character Plan; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001-41 states that the term of this Committee shall
expire within two (2) years unless the Board of County Commissioners, by Resolution,
extends the term of this Committee; and
WHEREAS, on April 22, 2003, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. 2003-165, extending the term of the Committee to June 26, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Community Character/Sf!1art Growth Advisory Committee desires to
extend its term for another year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the term of membership of the
Community Character/Smart Growth Advisory Committee is hereby extended for one
year, said term to expire on June 26, 2005.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
