OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners to ratify a deletion from the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan. CONSIDERATIONS: The Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County Manager to make additions to, modifications to and deletions from the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July. This is the second such occurrence. Attached, as Exhibit 1, is a deletion from the County's 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan that was made between January 2, 2009 and March 31, 2009. The deletion results from a job classification that has become obsolete. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is not quasi-judicial, and as such ex parte ~ disclosure is not required. This item requires a majority vote only. This item is legally sufficient for Board action. - CMG FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County, GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this Executive Summary. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners ratify a deletion from the 2009 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
