WHEREAS, nurses I education and holistic focus promotes restoration and maintenance of health in the Individual and famIly; and, WHEREAS, the American Nurses Asscc/ation, as fhe flrJice ft1r the registered nursu of this country, is working to chart a new course for a healthy nation that relies on increasing delivery cf primary ca~: and. WHEREAS, D renewed emphasis all primary ancl preventatiw: hea/thcare WI'll require better utilization of all of our nation's registered IWrsing resources; and. WHEREAS, professional nursing has been demonstrated to be an indispensDble cDm/xment in the safety and quality of core of 011 fMtients; and.
