EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommend the Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency review and approve
the Bayshore Gateway Triangle CRA Goals and Objectives for 2009
OBJECTIVE: For the Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board to
review and approve the Bayshore Gateway Triangle CRA Goals and Objectives for 2009.
CONSIDERATIONS: On Deccmber 16, 2008, the CRA Board approved a resolution that
delineated the process to evaluate each of the CRA executive dircctors. ]n January of each year,
as part of the evaluation process each director will prepare and present their proposed goals,
objectives and projects for the following years.
The Bayshore Gateway Triangle CRA Executive Director was evaluated in October of 2008 and
was not re-evaluated in January of 2009 due to the short time period since the last evaluation. As
a result, the goals and objectives list for 2009 was not formally presented. However, at the CRA
Board's annual joint workshop with the local advisory boards on January 16,2009, the Executive
Director's goals, objectives and projects list for the Bayshore Gateway Triangle area were
presented as part of the annual briefing.
Attached as Exhibit A are the Bayshore Gateway Triangle CRA Executive Director's goals,
objectives and projects list as reviewed and approved by the Local CRA Advisory Board.

FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact as a result ofthcse actions by the CRA Board.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Thcre is no direct impact upon the GMP as a result
of these actions by the CRA Board.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's Office
and is legally sufficient for Board action. Additionally, this item is not quasi-judicial, requires no
ex parte disclosure, and requires only a simple majority vote for approval. (MMSS)
RECOMMENDATION: For the CRA Board to review and formally approve the 2009
Bayshore Gateway Triangle eRA Executive Director's annual goals. objectives and projects list.
