EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to recognize and accept revenue for Collier Area Transit in the
amount of $23,900.00 and to approve needed budget amendments.
OBJECTIVE: To recognize and accept revenue in the amount of $23,900.00 for Collier
Area Transit and to approve needed budget amendments.
CONSIDERA nON: A check for the payment in lieu of the construction of a Cat Bus
Shelter of $23,900.00 was issued to Collier County by the Sembler Family Partnership
#41 LTD to meet their conditions of the Brooks Village CPUD Sections 5.7
DEVELOPER'S COMMITMENTS item B (as they relate to the Cat Bus Shelter).
A budget amendment is needed to recognize $23,900.00 revenue in Fund 426 Project
60083 for shelters.
FISCAL IMPACT: To approve the budget amendment in the amount of$23,900.00 for
bus shelters 426-60083.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the
County Attorney's Office, is not quasi-judicial and requires no ex parte disclosure,
requires only a majority vote for approvaL and is othenvise legally sufficient for Board
action.-SRT
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMP ACT: Consistent with the Transportation Elements
in Objectives 10 and 12 of the Growth Management Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners recognizes and
accepts revenue in the amount of $23,900 for Collier Area Transit and approve needed
budget amendments.

Dear Bob:
This letter is Sembler Family Partnership #41, L TO's (Sembler) 'letter of agreement
to pay cash to Collier County in lieu of actually constructing the work in the amount
of $23,900.00, attached as Exhibit "A" to this letter. Sembler agrees to have this
payment added as a Stipulation of C.O. As a condition of this payment, and by
acceptance of the Payment-in-Lieu funds, Collier County shall agree that all
conditions of the Brooks Village CPUD Sections 5.7 DEVELOPMENT-
COMMITMENTS-TRANSPORTATION item (G), and Section 5.8 DEVELOPER'S-
COMMITMENTS item (B) (as they relate to the Cat Bus Shelter) have been
performed and satisfied as of the date of acceptance of the funds.
