EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners A ward Bid #09-5175 for
Horticulture Debris Hauling and Disposal to County Waste, Inc.
OBJECTIVE: To award Bid #09-5175 for Horticulture Debris Hauling and Disposal to
County Waste, Inc.
CONSIDERA nONS:
1. Bid #09-5175 was posted on December II, 2008. One hundred and ninety eight
(198) notices were sent and seven (7) bids were received and opened on January
7,2009.
2. Staff has reviewed thc bids and determincd that the low bid was submitted by
County Waste, Inc. Therefore, staff recommmds award of Bid #09-5175 to
County Waste, Inc. as the lowest qualified responsive bidder.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact for Bid #09-5175 is $47,000 with the funds
available in the Pelican Bay Services Operations Budget, Fund 109.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMP ACT: There is no Growth Management Impact
resulting from this action.
RECOMMENDA TION: That the Board of County Commissioners award Bid #09-
5175 for Horticulture Debris Hauling and Disposal to County Waste, Inc.
