EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve a Budget
Amendment totaling $317,667.32 for the 951 Boat Ramp Parking Lot Expansion
project.
OBJECTIVE: To approve budget amendment totaling $317,667.32.
CONSIDERATIONS: During the design and permitting phase of the project in FY03
staff projected an anticipated engineer's cost estimate to construct the project in the
amount of $850,000.00, however, subsequent to FY03 the design phase of the project
was substantially enhanced in accordance with the regulatory agency requirements for
permitting. Therefore, staff is requesting a budget amendment to allocate the
necessary funds to address the shortfall and contingency conditions for funding.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed to move funding from various
projects within the Park's Impact Fee Fund 346 as follows:

RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve a Budget
Amendment moving funds totaling $317,667.32 to cover shortfall in budgetary funding
restraints.
