A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO
REAPPOINT MEMBERS TO THE COLLIER COUNTY
HISPANIC AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-37, creating the Hispanic Affairs
Advisory Board, provided that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members;
and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-78 amended Ordinance No. 91-37 by
providing that the Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, the terms of two (2) members will expire creating vacancies on this
board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided pUblic notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that
1. Sofia Pagan is hereby reappointed to the Collier County Hispanic Affairs Advisory
Board for a four tear term, said term to expire on June 25, 2007.
2. Carlos Aviles is hereby reappointed to the Collier County Hispanic Affairs
Advisory Board for a four tear term, said term to expire on June 25, 2007.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
