RESOLUTION NO. 2003-215
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO
APPOINT SCOTT l. SAllEY TO THE COLLIER COUNTY
CITIZENS CORPS ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on November 5, 2002, adopted
Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-56 which created the Collier County Citizens Corps
Advisory Council; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-56 provides that the Collier County Citizens Corps
Advisory Council shall be composed of eleven (11) voting members representing
Neighborhood Watch, Community Emergency Response Team, Collier County Fire
Chiefs Association, Civil Air Patrol, Coast Guard Auxiliary, American Red Cross, Salvation
Army, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Collier County Veterans Council, and Collier
County Business Industry; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Council for Neighborhood Watch
Program of the Collier County Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office nominee has submitted an application to fill the
vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Scott L. Salley, representing
the Neighborhood Watch Program of Collier County Sheriff's Office, is hereby appointed
to the Collier County Citizens Corps Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term to expire on November 5, 2005.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
