A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
SERVING AS THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO APPOINT AND REAPPOINT
MEMBERS TO THE BAYSHORE/GATEWAY TRIANGLE LOCAL
REDEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
CRA RESOLUTION NO. 2003-164
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001, the Community Redevelopment Agency of Collier
County, Florida, adopted CRA Resolution No. 2001-98, establishing the
Bayshore/Gateway Triangle Local Redevelopment Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, CRA Resolution No. 2001-98 adopted bylaws for the Bayshore/Gateway
Triangle Local Redevelopment Advisory Board, which provided that this board shall
consist of seven (7) members to be appointed by the Community Redevelopment
Agency; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy and the term of 4 members will expire,
creating a total of 5 vacancies on this Board; and
WHEREAS, public notice was solicited for applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with is
recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Bruce Babbitt, Resident, is hereby appointed to the Bayshore/Gateway Triangle
Local Redevelopment Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said
term to expire on May 22, 2004.
2. Bill L. Neal, MSTU Representative, is hereby reappointed to the
Bayshore/Gateway Triangle Local Redevelopment Advisory Board for a 2 year term, said
term to expire on May 22, 2004.
3. Sharon D. King, Business Owner is hereby reappointed to the Bayshore/Gateway
Triangle Local Redevelopment Advisory Board for a 2 year term, said term to expire on
May 22, 2004.
4. Ronald A. Fowle, Tamiami Trail Business Owner, is hereby reappointed to the
Bayshore/Gateway Triangle Local Redevelopment Advisory Board for a 2 year term, said
term to expire on May 22, 2004.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
