RESOLUTION NO. 2003-314
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY TO APPOINT AND REAPPOINT MEMBERS
TO THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County adopted
Ordinance No. 91-38 creating the Black Affairs Advisory Board, and provides that the
Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-77 amended Ordinance No. 91-38 by
increasing the membership of this Board to nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. laVerne Franklin is hereby reappointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board for a
four-year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2007.
2. Irene C. Williams is hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board for a
four-year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2007.
3. Mary Linda Sanders is hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board for a
four-year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2007.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
