Resolution 2003-311 '" 911 RESOLUTION NO. 2003-311 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLUER COUNTY TO CONFIRM, APPOINT AND REAPPOINT MEMBERS TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 80-80 created the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council; and WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council provides that the Advisory Council shall be composed of fourteen (14) regular members; and WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this board; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided publiC notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, Cleveland Clinic and the Collier County Sheriff's Office have provided the Board of County Commissioners with the names of their selected representativesj and WHEREAS, the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment and reappointment to their Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Captain Albert Beatty, representing the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Is hereby confirmed and appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring August 31, 2005. 2. Dr. Joel Moll, representing Cleveland Clinic, Is hereby confirmed and appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a three-year term, said term expiring August 31, 2006. 3. Debra Wright, representing Commission District 5, is hereby appointed to the to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring August 31, 2005. 4. Denver Stone, representing Commission District 2, is hereby appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring August 31, 2005. 5. Michael C. Bridges, representing Commission District 3, is hereby appointed to the Emergency Medical Services AdviSOry Council for a three-year term, said term expiring August 31, 2006. 6. Robert D. Laird, representing the At-Large category, is hereby reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a three-year term, said term expiring August 31, 2006. 7. Heather Rockcastle, representing the At-Large category, is hereby reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a three-year term, said term expiring August 31, 2006. - ,it :7 .'.;.+' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County hereby waives the provisions of Section Seven B. of Ordinance No. 2001-55, relating to a limitation of two consecutive terms of office, for the purpose of reappointment of Robert D.
