RESOLUTION NO. 03- 331
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, RENAMING 24TH AVENUE NORTH-
WEST TO AUTUMN OAKES LANE, WHICH STREET
IS LOCATED IN UNIT 97, OF THE GOLDEN GATE
ESTATES SUBDIVISION, SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP
48 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is authorized pursuant to authority of
Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename streets and roads, except for certain state
roads; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County's Code of Laws and Ordinances, Chapter 22,
Buildings and Building Regulations. Article X, Numbering cj Structures, Section 22-346, the
Board is required to approve requests to rename streets or roads by a majority vote pursuant to
Section 22-346 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, the Board has been requested by Peter Goodin of the Oakes Estate
Advisory Incorporated, and Heather Gaynor, the petitioner, to rename 24th Avenue
Northwest to Autumn Oakes Lane, and this street is located in Section 29, Township 48
South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida. legally known as Unit 7 of the Golden Gate
Estates Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 96, and;
WHEREAS. there is no other street in Collier County with this name or any similar
sounding name; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for identification purposes to confirm the name of this street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida that:
Effective this date, the name of the street described above is hereby changed from 24th
Avenue Northwest to Autumn Oakes Lane, and is confirmed as such.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records
of Collier County. Florida, and noted upon the maps of the street and zoning atlases of Collier
County, and notations made on the referenced Plat.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
