P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, the future of our state depends on the quality of early childhood
experiences provided to our young children; and,
WHEREAS, of the 17,547 children under the age of five in Collier County,
approximately two-thirds of them are in some form of child care
at least part-time; and,
WHEREAS, quality child care facilities and providers help ensure the well-
being and success of young children in Collier County; and,
WHEREAS, the 2019 observance of Preschool Provider Appreciation Day calls
attention to the importance of high-quality child care services
while honoring providers for their dedication to our children in
Collier County.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that May 10, 2019, be designated as
PRESCHOOL PROVIDER APPRECIATION DAY
IN COLLIER COUNTY
DONE AND ORDERED THIS 23rd Day of April 2019.
