RESOLUTION NO. 2005-405
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE
IMMOKALEE MASTER PLAN AND VISIONING COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on September 28, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners
adopted Ordinance No. 04-62 establishing the Immokalee Master Plan and
Visioning Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee is to be
composed of ten (10) members from a broad base of citizens and business
owners in the regulatory area of the Immokalee Area Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public
notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee IMaster Plan and Visioning Committee has
provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNlY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNlY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Richard L. Rice, representing the category of Citizen in the Regulatory
Area, is hereby appointed to the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning
Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on
December 31, 2007.
2. Brian Blocker, representing the category of Citizen in the Regulatory
Area, is hereby appointed to the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning
Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on
December 31, 2007.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
