RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 390
A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO
EXECUTE, A LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATlON, TO FUND
THE CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING IRRIGATION SYSTEM FROM
POTABLE TO AN EFFLUENT WATER SOURCE ALONG US 41 FROM
PINE RIDGE ROAD TO V ANDERBILT BEACH ROAD.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is willing to
enter into a Local Agency Program Agreement ("Agreement") with Collier County, wherein
FOOT will reimburse Collier County the sum of $50,000 to fund the conversion of an existing
inigation system from potable to an effluent water source along US 41 from Pine Ridge Road to
V anderbi It Beach Road; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners finds that it is in the
public interest to convclt this existing ilTigation system from potable to an elfluent water sourcc,
and that this Agreement is in thc bcst intercsts of the citizens of Collier County.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
l. The Board of County Commissioners approves, and authorizes its Chairman to sign, the
attached Agreement.
2. The Collier County Clerk will forward a certified copy of this Resolution to FOOr
along with the Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Rcsolution shall take cffect immediately upon adoption.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second, and majority vote favoring
