(PETITION VAC-PL20180001954) WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2013-166, Petitioner, James E. Willis, ESQ., of Willis & Davidow on behalf of the property owner, Holly L. Wood, has requested the vacation of the County and the public interest in a portion of the 40-foot drainage easement, as described in Book 1065, Page 582 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida, located in the rear yard of Lot 35, Queens Park at Lago Verde Phase 2 subdivision, on the south side of Kent Drive, approximately one-half mile north of Rattlesnake Hammock Road, in Section 18, Township 50 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, being more specifically shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on this day, held a public hearing to consider the petitioner's request and notice of said public hearing was given as required by law; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the County and the public interest in a portion of the 40-foot drainage easement, as described in Book 1065, Page 582 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida, located in the rear yard of Lot 35, Queens Park at Lago Verde Phase 2 subdivision, on the south side of Kent Drive, approximately one-half mile north of Rattlesnake Hammock Road, in Section 18, Township 50 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, being more specifically shown in Exhibit A, is hereby vacated, extinguished, renounced and disclaimed, and this action is declared to be in the public interest and for the public benefit.
