RESOLUTION NO. 2005-320
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COllIER COUNTY TO CONFIRM, APPOINT AND REAPPOINT
MEMBERS TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 80-80 created the Emergency Medical
Services Advisory Council; and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council provides
that the Advisory Council shall be composed of fourteen (14) regular members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council has provided the

Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. John Cassio, representing Commission District 1, is hereby appointed to the
Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a 3 year term, said term expiring
August 31, 2008.
2. Richard Schmidt, representing Commission District 5, is hereby appointed to the
Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a 3 year term, said term expiring
August 31, 2008.
3. David Bush, representing the category of Citizen at Large, is hereby appointed
to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term to expires on August 31, 2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following members are confirmed for
reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council:

Gail Dolan Naples Community Hospital
Captain Albert Beatty Collier County Sheriff's Office
Judith Nuland Collier County Health Department
Chief James T. McEvoy City of Naples
Michael D. Murphy Marco Island Police and EMS
Assistant Chief Rob Potteiger Collier County Fire Rescue
The terms of said members shall expire on August 31, 2008.
