WHEREAS, on February 18, 1975, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted Ordinance No. 75-04, as subsequently amended, establishing the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board to advise the Board on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 75-04, as amended, provides that the Advisory Board shall be composed of three to five electors residing within the Golden Gate Municipal Services District; and WHEREAS, one seat on this Advisory Board is currently vacant; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
