Resolution 2019-021 RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - 21
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING INITIAL MEMBERS TO
THE VANDERBILT WATERWAY MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS,on December 11,2018,the Board of County Commissioners(Board)adopted
Ordinance No. 2018-64, which established the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal Service Taxing
Unit(MSTU)to provide dredging services for Vanderbilt Waterway; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2018-64 also created the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal
Service Taxing Unit Advisory Committee to assist the Board in carrying out the MSTU in
accordance with the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee is structured to have five members, who generally
represent the area within the MSTU; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee vacancies were duly advertised, and the Board has
reviewed the applications; and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to appoint the following initial members to the Advisory
Committee for the initial teens set forth in the Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that Phillip Arnold and Clint Cuny are
hereby appointed to the Vanderbilt Waterway Municipal Service Taxing Unit Advisory Committee
to serve two-year terms expiring on February 12, 2021, and Vincent Fantegrossi, Nancy Koeper,
and Pamela Marsal are hereby appointed to serve four-year terms expiring on February 12, 2023.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on this the 12th day of February 2019.
