A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS f
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO APPOINT MITCHEll A.
ROBERTS TO THE OCHOPEE FIRE CONTROL ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 75-6 created the Ochopee Fire District and
provides for the establishment of an advisory board; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 89-98 confirmed the creation of the
Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board and provides that the advisory broad shall be
composed of five (5) members and such membership shall consist of one (1) member
from each of the designated areas; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Board in the Copeland area; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Mitchell A. Roberts is hereby appointed to the
Ochopee Fire Control Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said
term to expire on December 31,2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and unanimous vote.
