RESOLUTION NO. 2005-234
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY TO APPOINT AND CONFIRM THE
APPOINTMENT OF CAPTAIN TOM DAVIS TO THE IMMOKAlEE
ENTERPRISE ZONE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida adopted
Ordinance No. 95-22 establishing the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency
pursuant to Section 290.001, et seq., Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-22 provides that the Immokalee Enterprise Zone
Development Agency shall consist of not fewer than eight (8) or more than thirteen
(13) members; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's office has notified the Board that Sgt. James Mansberger
has resigned is position on this Agency and is recommending that Captain Tom Davis be
appointed to fill this vacant position; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNlY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNlY, FLORIDA, that Captain Tom Davis,
representing the Collier County Sheriff's Office, is hereby confirmed and appointed to
the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term to expire on April 4, 2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
