RESOLUTION NO. 05- 220
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF COLLIER,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND AUTHORIZING THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES DIVISION ADMINISTRATOR OR THE
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE PERMIT APPLICATIONS AND OTHER
DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO ENVIRONMETAL
SERVICES DEPARTMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, has
a need for natural areas, waterways and wildlife habitat management areas throughout the
County. These needs require application for permits through local, state, and federal
agencies; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of said Board to make applications and submit
documents to local, state, and federal agencies; and
WHEREAS, in order to expedite processing, it is necessary to officially appoint
and have a record of County officials authorized to execute permit applications and other
documents pertaining to Environmental Services Department projects having
environmental impacts on behalf of the Board to various federal and state agencies
including the following:
Florida Department of Transportation
Florida Department of Environmental Protection
US Army Corps of Engineers
US Coast Guard
Federal Aviation Administration
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
South Florida Water Management District
Federal Environmental Protection Agency
US Fish and Wildlife Service
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The Community Development and Environmental Services Division
Administrator or the Environmental Services Department Director is hereby
appointed and authorized to execute the permit applications and documents
aforesaid for and on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County.
