RESOLUTION NO. 2005-209
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO
THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-65 created the Affordable Housing
Commission and provides that the County Commission shall appoint five (5) members to
the Affordable Housing Commission and the City of Naples shall appoint four (4)
members to the Affordable Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-77 to include an alternate in its membership; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided publiC notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Commission has provided to the Board of County
Commissioners its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Esmeralda Serrata is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing Commission to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on October 1, 2008.
2. Christina D. Straton is hereby appointed as Alternate to the Affordable Housing
Commission to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on October
1,2007.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
